Poster Design for "Saturday of Kaveh Golestan"

This poster was designed and printed on the occasion of the screening of a documentary film about Kaveh Golestan titled "From the Shadows", from the series of cultural Saturday sessions at this institution. Since the film "From the Shadows" was a portrait documentary about Kaveh Golestan, and Golestan himself was active as a photographer and filmmaker for the BBC World Service in the last years of his life, and was known as a photographer intertwined with the media industry, I tried to incorporate these two main features in the design of this poster. Kaveh Golestan was killed on March 13, 2003, while on a mission to shoot for the BBC News Channel on the front lines of the U.S.-led war against Iraq, as a result of a landmine explosion. His memory is cherished.
It is worth mentioning that this poster was designed in two distinct color versions for inclusion in the virtual space and print.
